Vlasov maintains a busy concert pianist career in Latin America and Europe where he performs as a soloist with some well-known conductors Maxim Fedotov, Alexey Dorkin, Enkhbaatar Baatarzhavyn, Anton Shaburov, Leonid Shkarupa, and Germán Céspedes. Vlasov is a winner of the Sergei Rachmaninov International Piano Competition in Italy and the laureate of several international piano competitions: Pietro Argento International Piano Competition in Italy, The Young Talent Award (by the Ministry of Culture), Maria Yudina International Competition and the Russian Season in Yekaterinburg International Piano competition in Russia. | |
Vlasov was born on Sakhalin Island in Russia. He holds a Masters and Doctorate degrees from the Urals Mussorgsky State Conservatoire where he was a student of Nadezhda Atlas and attended master classes with the world-leading pianists and pedagogues Valentina Lisitsa, Dmitri Bashkirov, Andrey Gavrílov, Mikhaíl Arkadiev, Alexander Sandler, Miguel Ángel Scebba, Atanas Kurtiev, and Valery Shkarupa. He also holds Summa Cum Laude from the Piotr Ilich Tchaikovsky College of Music in Sverdlovsk. As a composer, Vlasov draws his musical ideas from the world around him and Piano Works (2017) and Melodías del Alma Rusa y Latinoamericana (2018) piano collections were inspired by the Russian and Latin-American melodies. | |
